The Investment Handbag

Yes, yes. I am starting to think about what I want my first real "grown-up" purchase to be. I have decided that a really nice pursue will do for me. I don't mean a couple hundred dollars I mean me buying a thousand plus dollar hand bag. I have a few in mind, but your lives change and in five to ten years when I am ready to make this purchase I may decide something totally different.

I can't wait till the day that I have saved up enough money to buy one of these beautiful bags! I know that it will most likely last me a life time and it will be something that my kid always sees and thinks "I want one of those when I grow up!" That what what it was like for me. What was your first big splurge? What do you want your first big splurge to be? I would love to know what you think in the comments!!! Thank you for reading and have a peripatetic day!

Netflix

I finally gave in and got a Netflix account. Yes it has taken me this long to get a Netflix account, but boy was it worth it! I never realized how simple and it was. I have enjoyed the app that I can watch on iPhone when I am on the go. I love that you can get hundreds of movies and TV episodes for less then $10 a month.  Here are some of the movies/TV shows I have started or have watched.

Call the Midwife

Beauty & the Beast (TV Show)

The West Wing

Once Upon A Time

Friends

Since I have only had Netflix for three weeks, it has been a little over whelming on what to watch next. I was wondering if any of you all had any suggestions for what I should watch? Thank you for reading and have a preptastic day!

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Yes, I had never seen "Breakfast at Tiffany's" until a week ago, go ahead, sue me. I always thought that It was just one of those movies that was total overrated. But boy was it underrated by pop culture! I fell in love with in with in the first ten minutes! I had always admired Audrey Hepburn, she always looks posed and confident, and by watching this film, it only reaffirmed my admiration for her.

"Breakfast at Tiffany's" is such an iconic film that if anyone who even remotely likes fashion they have at least seen a picture of the famous little black dress by Givenchy. in the first ten minutes, you see how eternally classic Audrey Hepburn is, she can get dress in 5 minutes and still look amazing. Here are some of my favorite "Breakfast at Tiffany's" posters and images that I have found:

This can only be one of the most iconic and recognizable scenes in cinematic history.

I loved "Breakfast at Tiffany's" so much that I am had to go and get "Roman Holiday" which was Audrey Hepburn's real breakthrough role. I am most defiantly going to be buying more of Audrey's films and watch them during my snow days this winter! Breakfast at Tiffany's maybe my new favorite film.

What is your favorite film? Thank you for reading and have a preptastic day!

Essie's "After School Boy Blazer"

I have been enteranly searching for a navy blue nail polish that is not to dark, but not to blue. I have finally found it in Essie's "After School Boy Blazer". First off, who doesn't love the name! Secondly, It matches almost every navy color I own. It is not too glittery, but not to matte. It is the best polish ever!  I love Essie nail polish, it is such great quality and really great color pigment!

What is your favorite color of nail polish? Thank you for reading and have a preptastic day!

Hunter Rain Boots

I have issues when it comes to boots… My calves have been through way to much tennis and swimming in my life time, which means that my calves that are 15 1/2 inches around. The standard boot leg opening is 15 inches… And I would prefer to wear pants sometimes with boots, which is only reasonable. So now you see my conundrum. I have muscle-y legs (i.e. the need for extended calf boots).

I would really like to buy a pair of nice rain boots since my feet have stopped growing, and I have been looking at Hunter Rain Boots. But I always have that fear that I will get them home and I won't be able to fit into them. I don't want to spend $150+ to buy boots that don't fit. Because I need larger calf boots that are 16 1/2 inches in circumference, here are my options from Hunter:

All of the options I think (I hope) have 16 1/2 inch calfs. On the website it says that the Huntress boots are the ones made for wider calfs, but I don't know about the adjustable ones. Either way, I will have to go to the store and try them on. I just have to cross my fingers and hope that the local store near me cares extended calf or Huntress Hunter Rain boots.

What do you think, are Hunter Rain Boots worth it? Thank you for reading and have a preptastic day!

Wristlets, Oh How Hard You Are to Find…

I am preparing for my final exam for my Driver's Ed course, which I had to take online. (That was real fun! Said no one ever.) In August, I am official able to get my drivers license. I may or may not have a count down clock on my phone… 216 Days!!!

When I finally get my driver license, I would like to have one of those wallets that can go on your key chains. Most of my friends, who already have their license, either have one of those or a wristlet that they can put their keys on if they want to. Here are some options that I am looking at, from high to low on the price scale. All of them will work great, but I just can't decide which one I will actually use.

For the pricey ones… to the lower priced ones.

There are so many options, but not all of them are versatile or reasonable for what I need them to be. Which one do you think that a high schooler would actually use? Thank you for reading and have a prepsteric day!
