A Very Preppy Christmas and an Even Preppier New Year!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas with their families! I have to say that I loved all of my gifts that I got for Christmas this year. Here are a few of my favorites:

My Passport Hard Drive // L.L. Bean's Bean Rubber Moc // L'Occitane Lotion Set
Pocket Knief // Necklace and Earring Set // Watch

The Barrington Bag, let me tell you, I am in love! It is big enough for me to put my lap top in, but not to big that I can't use it as a purse. The L.L. Bean Rubber Moc's are also a favorite, they are great for light rain and when i really don't want to put my socks over my pant legs. I also like the pocket knife from L.L. Bean, it is the perfect size for my peruse, but still a useful size. I will just have to remember to take it out of my purse before I fly.

The L'Occitane hand lotion set has saved my butt. My hands have gotten so dry in the past few days. I hate the polar vortex… The hard drive was also very needed for my sanity.

New Mac Software and It's Frustrating Download

So the reason I didn't post yesterday was because I was trying to download OS X Mountain Lion on my Mac. I bought my 15" MacBook Pro in late 2011, so it is almost two years old. I thought i twas about time I updated the Software, since I am starting off a new school year and all.

The software was $19.99 on the App Store, which is better then having to by another $1,000 + computer. I love my Mac and I highly recommend Apple Products, but the one thing is once you go Mac, you can't go back!!!

So I started the download at around 2:00 pm yesterday afternoon. I closed my computer, I didn't shut it down, I just closed it, because you can do that with Mac's. I opened my laptop this morning at around 9:45 or 10:00 and it just finished downloading and installing at 2:00. 

So this is to anyone who is looking or pondering downloading OS X Mountain Lion, get i, but you have to be patience while downloading it. To everyone else who is looking at buying a new laptop and don't want to get a mac because they are to expensive, my Moma got a new laptop two or three weeks ago, she got a Dell 15" Inspiron, it had Windows 8 and she loves it! 

I have only had this software for like an hour so I don't know everything about it yet, but I know Apple, so I know I will like it. 

I have no clue what kind of blog post I am going to do tomorrow, but I will do something!! Thank you for reading and have a great day!

My Apple Products

Last week I ordered a monogramed decal for my laptop from an Etsy shop called Cali's Cases. I ordered it last Wednesday so it only took 3 business days. I was so happy with it. This got me thinking about my Apple products, because I was going to put it on my MacBook Pro. 

So cute!!!! 

So here is were the magic behind this blog happens. 

So when I got my Mac a year and a half ago I wanted to protect it from scratches so I asked for a pink Incase Unibody for Christmas. Yeah, I like pink. I got my screen saver off of some website, but don't you love it, it is so cute and it has an anchor on it!!! I was the first person in my family who has ever had a Mac. I grew up with PCs, but I love Macs so much more! I am defiantly a Mac Girl! 

I also have an iPhone 4. It will be 2 years old in July, so I think that I am going to get an iPhone 5 with my report card money. I cracked my screen last summer and have never gotten it fixed because I have been waiting and saving for the iPhone 5. Like my background?! 

I got my iPad three Christmases ago and I love it! Notice the case? It Lilly! Of course I have a monogramed background! 

So you now know about my Apple addiction. I love Macs, iPhones, and iPads! See y'all tomorrow!
